Important Notice
As from 8. May 2008 the German Consulate General is cooperating with the external service provider VFS in setting up a visa service center on Al Hudaiba Road next to the Capitol Hotel. All visa applications should be handed in at this center. Applications can only be handed in at the Consulate directly by prior appointment made through VFS.

Requirements
Due to a change in Schengen regulations as of April 2010, only passports which were first issued within the past 10 years can be accepted for visa applications.
New regulations for hand luggage on all flights originating in EU countries and on connecting flights from Europe
Please note that with effect from 6 November 2006 on flights originating in the EU, as well as on connecting flights from Europe, there will be restrictions on liquids which can be taken into the cabin. This also includes passengers flying from a non EU airport who have to transit/transfer at any EU airport. Furthemore included are all flights within Germany.
